In the Chair - Real People Real Hair - Kazz - Visit 3

We imagined a 12-month recovery program to get Kazz’s terribly destroyed hair back to health. But the combination of Kazz’s disciplined application of LifeSaver Treatments and her willingness to finally go a little shorter has brought that forward to her third visit just 12 weeks after we started.

I don’t normally start by showing the back. But the breakage and damage was so bad 3 months ago, that the entire top half of her hair at the back had broken off. Kazz had been paying a lot for hair colouring and regular Olaplex treatments over the years. Yet her extremely damaged hair quality is something I regularly see. Weak thin broken hair, and dull colour.

Now I couldn’t possibly comment that in my experience, the Olaplex treatments don’t seem to perform quite as promised, . Perhaps they do and then comforted by this, people then damage their hair more. I just don’t seem to come across people with fantastic hair quality that say they use Olaplex. The end results seem to be no improvement in hair quality. Certainly a potion alone is unlikely to compensate for poor quality colouring and excessive clumsy heat styling.

But in mine and thousands of other people’s experience, our LifeSaver Treatment is a much better way to protect and restore hair quality.

1. The Haircut

Taking a further inch off the length and layering through helped us almost eliminate the broken gaps in the hair. Overall a softer more youthful look which is easy to manage in many different styles.

2. Colour

Our colour technician, Rocky, continued the journey to reduce the amount of bleach going onto the hair and also ensure it's not over-processed. Kazz had all-over colour before and was now having highlights. This gives a much more interesting dimensional look, and a brighter cleaner blonde.

3. Condition

A key product for Kazz's hair is LifeSaver Treatment. This will protect the bonds in the hair so that fewer break in the first place. It's not an oil-based treatment and you cannot overuse LifeSaver®. It feeds, hydrates and strengthens hair without weighing it down and gives vibrancy to all hair types.

4. Styling

Thicker Quicker is the go-to product to boost the roots and a little Volumising Mousse for the mid-lengths and ends is the perfect combo for maximising volume. The NEW Eureka Blowdry Balm gives heat-protection and hydration to aid suppleness and shine.

Amazing transformation - love this shorter hairstyle for Summer. I’ve been using the products for the last 3 months and my sad, brittle hair is returning to its original thick, healthy, happy self. I love it!” - Kazz

Preparation
We used the LifeSaver Pre-wash Treatment and washed with Cashmere Protective UV Protective Shampoo and Conditioner.

Styling
We used a little Thicker Quicker, Volumising Mousse and the NEW Eureka Blowdry Balm to help give body and control. We used the Large Round Brush Soft Bristle to style.

When an industry gangs up on its customers to suit itself, it never ends well. Eventually the mis-selling and other scandals come to light, then the providers close ranks, obfuscate, and gaslight the customers into thinking they are in the wrong or they themselves are the problem.
