Benefit 1. Longer lasting colour

In this extreme 7-day test, a weft of hair was cut in half and only the right-hand side was protected from sun and pool water in the Negev Desert. In this example we used LifeSaver UV Leave-in Treatment. The unprotected side on the left has dried out and faded. That’s the power of LifeSaver. For colour protection alone LifeSaver can pay for itself across a two-month period. The condition of the hair is the most important factor, and keeping the hair shaft strong and complete will stop the colour leeching out. We’ve not come across anything that works better to extend the life of your colour process than regular LifeSaver Pre-wash Treatments combined with UV Protective Shampoo and Conditioner.

The two key reasons for having hair trimmed are - 1. it changes shape, gets heavy and the style stops performing and - 2. the decaying dry ends give a dusty faded halo and can start to split. For both these reasons haircuts become more urgent and frequent for poorly conditioned hair. Dryness and a loss of vitality means a style is harder to work.
